C&YP Needs Assesment 2011-2014
The following documents are the start of gathering of data for the Cardiff Children and Young People’s Needs Assessment 2011-14. The Needs Assessment is being produced in support of the development of the second Children and Young People’s Plan, which will itself form part of a larger Integrated Strategic Plan for Cardiff. These documents include the current Demography of Children & Young People in Cardiff as well as the wider Demographics of Cardiff. There are also more specific documents that reflect each of the 7 Core Aims within the Children and Young People’s Partnership. There is no document specifically relating to Core Aim 5: Participation because there was no data in the previous needs assessment to update and currently there is no additional data available.
These are the initial stages of the on-going process of Needs Assessment. As more information and data is gathered and collected, further documents will be made available on the website. These will include results of consultation exercises with children and young people and qualitative research reports.
