Cymorth Research Grants
Cymorth is a funding stream issued by the Welsh Assembly Government to support the work of Cardiff Children and Young People’s Partnership in the provision and development of additional services for children and young people aged 0-25 and their families.
The Welsh Assembly Government and the Cardiff Children and Young People’s Partnership are committed to establishing the best possible research and evidence base to inform service provision and development. The Cymorth Research Grants are offered in line with this commitment. Cymorth Research Grants were introduced in 2005-6, the purpose being to fund work contributing to the evidence base on children and young people in Cardiff, to inform the specific priorities of the Children and Young People’s Partnership and to help forge partnerships between practitioners, researchers and others. Grants are subject to existing rules and guidance governing use of the Cymorth Fund, and in particular these Grants can not be used to support any work which is a statutory duty of any organisation.
Please note that the Research Grant Application Process for 2010-11 is now CLOSED. We will update the website with final decisions made regarding applications recieved in due course.
