Development Proposals
Each of the Partnership’s five core groups identified areas of work they wanted to take forward to deliver their priorities in the Children and Young People’s Plan. These areas of work are being set out in ‘Development Proposals’ (see Guidance). The service specifications (on which all new work will be commissioned) will be based on these proposals.
As the Partnership is taking a phased approach to the commissioning process, not all of these new areas of work will be commissioned in 2010/11. In some cases, the core groups have identified the area of provision that they want to develop, but need to do some further work to develop more detailed proposals. A number of the existing projects will continue under current arrangements in the next financial year to allow this work to take place.
