How The Partnership Works

Partnership Board
The Board is the overall governing body for the Partnership, with the Local Authority as the Lead Partnership Agency. It has a representative membership which includes senior members from Health , the Voluntary and Independent Sector, The Local Authority and the Police.
Core Groups
There are 5 Core Groups who are responsible for driving forward implementation of the plan for each core aim and monitoring progress against outcomes. They report directly to the board and receive/refer items as appropriate to the Joint Commissioning Group.
Joint Commissioning Group (JCG) for Children & Young People
This group works within the context of the existing commissioning arrangements and strategies of the Local Health Board and Local Authority. It has a cross representational membership and reports directly to the Board. Matters for referral are sent to and received by Core Groups (terms of reference coming soon)
Monitoring & Review Group (M&R)
This group acts as the guardian of partnership principles, to ensure that equity and transparency exist in all Partnership agreed processes. It currently provides a detailed overview of the use of the Cymorth funding stream (Click here for terms of reference and membership information)
Note: This is a representation of Core Groups and their associated Task Groups - correct at this date. It does not detail all other associated sub groups, or Partnership Groups that have a scrutiny function (such as the Joint Commisioning Group for Children & Young People (JCG) or the Cymorth Monitoring & Review (M&R) - see Governance structure for this information)
